I am so happy to have found Lake Forest Animal Hospital. Dr. Holly & Dr. Van Skoik are fantastic vets. They have been fabulous with my kitties. The have taken care of & then comforted me through the death of my last two cats & are now treating my new babies like part of their family. They always treat my babies like they’ve been waiting all day to see them. The new kittens had their 1st vet appointment the other day & everyone that met them made them feel comfortable & loved. I’m sure they do the same for every animal that comes in because I’ve seen it. You won’t regret making Lake Forest the place you bring your pet-babies for all their medical needs.
Great veterinary clinic. They’re always happy to give advice over the phone if you have a question about your pet to save you from needing to bring them in, when possible. Recently I had to bring my dog in on short notice for what turned out to be emergency surgery when he ate a non-food item and they were very kind and accommodating.
Initially, I was anxious about Addison Animal Hospital having merged with Lake Forest Animal Hospital for several reasons concerning a longer drive, establishing a new relationship with the new vets and vet assistants, and the ease of scheduling an appointment. But, I am happy to say that my first visit with my diabetic cat went very well. I am sad to have learned that Dr. Scott is retiring; however, I am confident that my cat will be in good hands with Dr. Holley and her staff. I felt "heard" in my discussions about my cat's care which is super important to me.
Dr. Julie and Dr. Holley and their staff have taken the best care of my pups for several years! I can’t thank them enough for their expertise and care! We love them!
Lake Forest Animal Hospital has been so helpful with working around my work hours with getting multiple dogs in. I spoke with Chelsea this morning and she was SO helpful and sweet. Staff is amazing and the doctors are excellent. Prices are very reasonable for a single dog mom. I highly recommend this vet and I will ALWAYS bring my animals here <3
Love what they did to my dog nails only place that take their time with my dog and doesn’t put a mussel on her bc she is a PIT, they are thinking she will bite them bc she is afraid at first but she is not at all she feels safe and secure with this office!! Love them and what they do! Will continue to use them for her nails!!

Dr. Holly is the best. Always patient and takes time to answer questions and concerns. Vet techs always friendly and competent in their role. Office staff efficient and friendly as well. I have been going to lake Forest for a number of years first with my beagle and now with my cat. I trust in the care that I receive for my animals.
Love Dr. Miller and staff at Lake Forest Animal Hospital. They do a great job and they are so thorough to be sure my sweet Juno is doing well. It's so nice to be able to have people who really care to take care of Juno, and me.
I have been a long time client of Dr Scott Miller. I made an appointment with him for my Corgi's annual exam. When I arrived Dr Miller was in surgery, so I saw Dr Julie Van Scoik. She gave my dog a thorough exam and explained what she found. I was very pleased with her professionalism. I had an excellent experience and will continue to use Lake Forest Animal Hospital.
